About Me
Marilyn Salmon is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. She attended Southwestern Adventist University and obtained her degree in nursing. She has spent the last 35 years at the bedside with 30 of those years in the setting of Intensive Care. She draws spiritual application from her career experience in dealing with critically ill patients, their families and end of life issues. She feels it is such a privilege to come along side patients and their families during that part of life to ease their way.
Marilyn’s current responsibilities include committee duties as Ethics Champion for Providence Health in her region with executing ethical decision-making for difficult cases. She also serves as probationary Chaplain for Spokane County Sheriff’s department offering spiritual care during difficult times for individuals and deputies. She serves as Women’s Ministry director for her local church body. She has also served in rural Kenya as member and team lead to a hospice in the community with Living Room Ministries International.
Marilyn’s passion by the Spirit is to be an ambassador for God through which He can make His appeal to mankind. Her desire is to inspire and encourage people to seek out their giftedness in Christ to build the body of Christ.
Marilyn is married to Rupert and they have two adult daughters.
