Why Places of Grace?
The name Places of Grace is rooted in the invitation of Hebrews 4:16—to come confidently to God’s throne of grace, where we receive mercy and find grace for the help we need.
Grace is more than a welcome. The biblical word charis speaks of God’s powerful, loving kindness actively at work in our lives—turning us toward Christ, keeping and strengthening us, growing us in faith, and working within us a life increasingly shaped by Him.
We believe God’s grace is at work in the real places of our lives—the ordinary, beautiful, difficult, changing, and sometimes unexpected places where we are learning what it means to follow Christ.
Grace has strength.
